David started his career as the sales manager for The Olympic Hotel in Seattle. He moved on to Los Angeles to become the same at the renowned Century Plaza. David returned to Seattle to become Vice President and General Sales Manager at Westin's headquarters retiring as Starwood Hotels and Resorts SVP of Global Sales and Marketing.
